Right, time for the definitive exhaust thread. There are many exhausts avaliable for the 106.
A standard 106 exhaust consists of either 4 or 3 parts depending whether if it is fitted with a catalytic convertor or note. Most replacement systems follow a similar pattern as the standard system. You can either purchase a complete system (manifold back), a cat back (keeping the standard catalytic convertor) or just a back box.
Obviously the more items you purchase the price increases. Universal back boxes are available but I would not recommend these, they are cheap tat and often do not fit properly at all. AVOID!
Things to consider when purchasing an exhaust you should consider:
Pug sport exhaust
This is the exhaust manufactured by peugeot sport for use on their rally cars. Its very popular across the 106 world, for obvious reasons... mainly the sound and performance gains.

The complete system comes in either 2" or 3" tail pipe. The 2" is a "rolled out" design and the 3" is a "rolled in" design. Both tailpipes are pictured below.

Both tail pipe sizes are the same price at 239.99 from 106 parts. For that price you get the manifold back system, which de cats the car.

Now, these pug sport exhausts are amazing. They are light, good sound and good performance gains. However, they do not fit perfectly to the car. They take a bit of fiddling to get them to sit correctly. Some people get it right first time, some people just cant get it right!
Supersprint Race
This exhaust hasn't been around for long but its made a big impact as a replacement for the pug sport.

You will notice there is only one silencer in this system, thus making it quiet loud... This system also decats the car aswell.

It sounds very similar to the pugsport but a little different. From what people have reported, this system fits well and they have had no problems.

This a good exhaust, sounds similar to the pugsport just a little more refined for everyday use. It has twin oval exits, which suit the 106 very nicely. Good fit aswell.

Janspeed exhausts are top quality, great fit, great sound. Quiet at idle then above 4k rpm sounds yummy.
OMP
No exact photo, buts its very similar to the supersprint system, just costs a little bit more money. I would advise against this, due to what seems to be like constant avaliablility problems.

These are custom, prices will vary considerably as to what you ask for. They have a range of tail pipes and a list of deals are on their website.

These exhausts are ok, but they sound very "boomy". This is often reffered to as a cheap tone, which is not to everyone's taste.
